Key Responsibilities:
Role & responsibilities
· Financial Planning and Analysis: Developing and implementing financial strategies, creating budgets, forecasting financial performance, and analyzing financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
· Financial Reporting: Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and presenting financial information to stakeholders.
· Risk Management: Identifying and assessing financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate those risks, and ensuring the organization's financial stability.
· Cash Management: Managing cash flow, optimizing investments, and ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet the organization's needs.
· Strategic Planning: Partnering with the CEO and other executives to develop and implement the organization's strategic plan, providing financial insights and guidance.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the organization complies with all relevant financial laws and regulations.
· Team Leadership: Managing and leading the finance department, including accounting, financial analysis, and other related teams.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
· Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and risk management.
· Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop strategic plans.
· Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve financial challenges and opportunities.
· Experience: 10 - 15 years of experience in senior financial management roles, ideally with a proven track record of success.
