Position Overview
We are a $100M provider… We are seeking a visionary, results-driven, and hands-on Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead and sell— combining executive leadership with direct selling responsibility. The CRO will personally engage in major deals, build key customer relationships, and drive growth through both strategy and action. The CRO will be responsible for all revenue-generating functions, including sales, client success, partnerships, distribution, and marketing alignment. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CRO will drive our ambitious goal to scale revenue from $100M to $300M over the next three to five years.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute our comprehensive revenue strategy to scale revenue from $100M to $300M.
- Partner with the CEO, CFO, and other executives to align financial goals, pricing strategy, and growth plans.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, operations, client success, and marketing to unify growth efforts.
- Act as a key voice in executive decision-making, contributing to company strategy, board discussions, and M&A activities.
- Serve as the lead seller and executive relationship owner for top accounts, setting the example through direct selling and customer engagement.

Revenue Growth & Sales
- Lead EVP of Sales, regional VPs, and field sales teams to achieve aggressive growth targets.
- Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and sales operations to ensure predictable, scalable results.
- Implement standardized sales processes, playbooks, and KPIs across the sales organization.
- Drive expansion into new markets and geographies while deepening relationships with current customers.
-Personally lead major pursuits, renewals, and enterprise negotiations.
-Maintain an active field presence, meeting regularly with customers and prospects.
-Be directly accountable for individual contribution to revenue and bottom line growth.
Client Success & Partnerships
- Integrate Client Success as a core revenue driver through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
- Partner with operational VP’s and M&A to develop new revenue channels and strategic partnerships.
- Build alliances with key industry stakeholders, distributors, and strategic accounts to fuel growth.
-Represent the company as executive sponsor for key clients, participating in renewals and expansion discussions.
Forecasting, Data & Operations
- Establish a unified revenue dashboard with KPIs across bookings, churn, retention, and gross margin.
- Partner with CFO to improve forecasting accuracy and profitability.
- Leverage technology and analytics to create data-driven insights for decision-making.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Build, coach, and retain a world-class commercial leadership team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance across revenue functions.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the commercial organization.
-Model a hands-on, performance-driven culture through personal selling, customer engagement, and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in revenue, sales, or business development.
- Proven track record of scaling revenue from ~$100M toward $500M+ within a services, distribution, or facilities industry.
- Deep expertise in designing sales strategies, compensation models, and go-to-market plans.
- Strong financial and operational acumen with ability to partner effectively with CFO/COO peers.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with a history of building strong executive and client relationships.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $225,000 – $250,000
- Bonus: 25% of base, tied to revenue and margin growth
- Management Incentive Plan (MIP): Multi-year incentive tied to achieving revenue and EBITDA milestones, aligned with the company's 5-year plan to grow to $300M.
