REQUIRED:
- Insurance industry experience (Property, casualty, workers' compensation, life insurance)
- CPA
- Advanced Degree, MBA or Masters
- 20+ years of total experience
Details of position:
- Managing a small team of 7-8 Accounting/Finance staff
- Working 3 days a week in the office
- Senior finance leader partnering closely with executive leadership on strategy, financial performance, and long-term planning.
- Provides oversight across accounting, finance operations, and technology-related financial processes.
- Supports investment strategy, asset performance monitoring, and relationships with external financial partners.
- Leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial outlook development to guide organizational decision-making.
- Oversees regulatory reporting, financial analysis, and preparation of executive-level presentations.
- Monitors industry trends and competitor financial activity to inform strategic positioning.
- Plays a key role in enterprise risk management, internal controls, and compliance initiatives.
- Coordinates with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders during reviews and examinations.
- Contributes to payroll, tax processes, retirement plan oversight, and broader financial governance activities.
- Drives process improvements, special projects, and initiatives that strengthen financial infrastructure and performance.
