About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic financial leader to guide the long‑term financial direction of the organization. The CFO will strengthen financial resilience, elevate enterprise performance, and ensure disciplined execution across all financial functions. This leader will drive organization‑wide financial strategy, resource planning, and capital stewardship while advising the CEO and Board on opportunities, risks, and performance levers. The role oversees the financial architecture that supports growth, compliance, and operational excellence, serving as a central executive voice shaping the institution’s strategic trajectory.
What You’ll Own
- Setting and driving the organization’s long‑term financial vision, ensuring alignment between strategy, resources, and enterprise priorities
- Leading financial planning, forecasting, and performance management to support informed, future‑oriented decision‑making
- Overseeing all core financial functions, including accounting, cash management, treasury, and investment or reserve portfolio oversight
- Ensuring strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and transparent reporting to executive leadership and the Board
- Managing capital, liquidity, and balance sheet strategy to support organizational strength, flexibility, and growth
- Building and developing a high‑performing Finance and Accounting organization with modern systems, controls, and capabilities
- Driving modernization of financial infrastructure through process redesign, automation, and technology enablement
- Leading enterprise risk management across financial, operational, and funding dimensions
- Partnering with executive leadership to shape strategic initiatives, improve operational effectiveness, and advance long‑term organizational sustainability
What We’d Like
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- Progressive leadership experience across accounting, reporting, and financial operations, ideally within a dynamic, purpose‑driven organization
- Deep expertise in GAAP and financial reporting, with the ability to interpret standards, manage complexity, and provide clear guidance to executive leadership and the Board
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP integrations, system upgrades, or financial system implementations
- A leader who can simplify complexity, build alignment across operations and finance, and navigate challenges with calm precision
- A proactive operator with a sharp eye for accuracy, cost control, and scalable processes
