POSITION: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be a key member of the leadership team—responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring fiscal integrity, and providing strategic guidance to support the long-term vision of the dealership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and reconcile all accounting schedules
- Conduct expense analysis and manage the month-end closing process
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements
- Prepare and submit monthly tax remittances and other statutory filings
- Supervise and support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable staff
- Ensure proper accounting and posting of new and used vehicle transactions
- Maintain strong interdepartmental relationships and communication
- Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and government agencies
- Provide analytical, administrative, and financial insights to department managers, VP of Operations and the Dealer Principal
- Manage all dealership accounting and bookkeeping functions to ensure accuracy and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Comprehensive knowledge of General Motors’ Standard Accounting Policies
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA designation preferred
- Experience with Quorum or equivalent dealership accounting systems
- Prior GM Financial Statement experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
