Our client is looking for an Interim CFO (20 hours per week) for a 6 months contract.

About the Opportunity
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering
- Develop a forward-looking financial strategy, shifting reporting from historical results to predictive trend analysis and performance insights.
- Benchmark company performance against industry standards, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to ownership and the senior leadership team.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support decision-making and long-term strategic planning.
- Develop Capex and Opex frameworks, cash flow strategies, and debt-to-equity structures.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and business performance.
- Assess and mitigate financial, operational, and people-related risks to safeguard and strengthen the business.
- Evaluate and plan for the impact of tariffs, regulatory shifts, and market changes on future performance.
Accounting, Reporting & ERP Implementation
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial policies.
Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives
- Develop and formalize financial policies, procedures, and controls that support the company’s expansion.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices across all financial functions.
About You
- Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) required.
- Proven track record in a CFO or senior finance leadership role.
- Experience in owner-managed or privately held company environments preferred.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning capabilities.
- Strong M&A experience, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment and business transformation.
- Bilingual (English & French) preferred.
