With a strong foundation and ambitious growth plans, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial strategy and operations.
Position Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and the Board of Directors, responsible for overseeing all financial and technology operations of the company. This role will provide strategic direction, financial stewardship, and operational leadership to support continued growth and profitability. The CFO will lead a team of approximately 30 professionals across Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
· Develop and execute financial strategies that align with corporate objectives and support long-term growth.
· Advise the CEO and executive team on financial planning, capital structure, and risk management.
· Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and strategic investment analysis.
Financial Operations & Controls:
· Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
· Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
· Implement and maintain robust internal controls and audit processes.
· Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
· Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycles.
· Monitor financial performance against budget and provide actionable insights.
· Maintain and further develop KPIs and dashboards to track financial health and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development:
· Direct and mentor a team of 30 professionals across Finance, Accounting, and IT.
· Maintain a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
· Identify talent development opportunities and succession planning strategies.
Technology & Systems Oversight:
· Oversee IT strategy and infrastructure to ensure alignment with business needs.
· Drive digital transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization and data analytics.
· Ensure cybersecurity and data governance policies are in place and effective.
Compliance & External Relations:
· Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, regulatory agencies, insurance, agencies, and investment firms.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
· Support legal and contractual reviews from a financial perspective.
Growth & Strategic Initiatives:
· Provide financial leadership for new product launches, market expansion, and operational scaling.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
· MBA and CPA preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including CFO or VP of Finance roles.
· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex financial operations.
· Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $200,000.00 - $360,000.00 per year
