Position Overview
The Head of Business & Operations will be responsible for building the infrastructure, processes, and teams that enable sustainable growth. You’ll oversee business development, strategic partnerships, operations, and revenue execution — ensuring that every initiative aligns with company vision and values.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Culture
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner and operational counterpart to the CEO.
- Translate vision into actionable plans, goals, and measurable results.
- Foster a culture of accountability, service, integrity, and execution.
- Model startup grit — rolling up your sleeves, solving problems, and leading by example.
2. Growth Strategy & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, client segments, and partnerships.
- Conduct competitive and market research to guide strategic decisions and uncover growth channels.
3. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and referral networks.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and meetings.
- Negotiate partnership and client agreements that align with strategic priorities.
4. Revenue Generation
- Own the client acquisition strategy, pipeline, and conversion metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted lead generation and retention campaigns.
- Design and track key performance indicators for growth and revenue performance.
5. Strategic Initiatives
- Drive new product or service launches through market validation and pilot programs.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across existing client relationships.
- Create proposals, presentations, and pitch materials for partners and investors.
6. Systems & Process Development
- Build and optimize scalable business systems, CRMs, and operational workflows.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and dashboards for performance and efficiency.
- Standardize procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency and scalability.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with finance, legal, and marketing to ensure alignment and execution across teams.
- Oversee scheduling, resourcing, and internal communications to streamline collaboration.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships, ensuring quality and accountability.
8. Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Collaborate with finance on forecasting, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team development as the organization scales.
- Deliver regular performance and operational reports to the CEO and leadership team.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or leadership roles (startup or growth-stage experience strongly preferred).
- Proven success in scaling operations, building teams, and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across functions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
