Essential Functions:
- Build, develop, and improve Oracle CPQ components, configurations, and integrations according to specifications within a team environment.
- Perform systems analysis and prepare detailed system documentation including requirements, specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Complete unit and system tests and, as needed, validation testing.
- Configure working prototypes in a development sandbox if required, and validate and refine prototypes.
- Plan, schedule, and implement the Oracle Upgrade program to ensure minimal impact to end users.
- Troubleshoot issues in the CPQ environment and in related integrations.
- Coordinate with Operations staff on deployment of applications.
- Collaborate with business partners to examine and resolve support requests, including training.
- Ensure all activities are performed with quality and compliance.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
4+ years of relevant systems development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on Oracle CPQ (Big Machines) platform.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of the Oracle Big Machines platform.
- Expertise in Oracle Big Machines platform functionalities, configurations, and technology, including BML and BMQL.
- Strong understanding of sales processes like opportunities, CPQ quoting, BM commerce, model configurations, pricing, discounting, promotions, approval matrix, and sales orders.
- Expertise in Oracle CPQ Configuration & Commerce Array Sets, XSL, XML, CSS, Jscript, JSON.
- Familiarity with the Big Machines data model, data architecture, and data management.
- Hands-on experience with integration with third-party systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, OFM.
- Knowledge of SOAP and REST API usage in CPQ.
- Must be a confident self-starter capable of owning the delivery of high-value work products.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with business users, management, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with effective analysis and planning skills.
- Oracle Big Machines certifications are mandatory; Salesforce.com certifications are advantageous.
- Willingness to work from 1 PM IST to 10 PM IST [3:30 PM PST to 12:30 AM PST].
