Our client is a well established group with an aim to get IPO. The Group CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, taking absolute ownership of the financial strategy, regional operations, and capital market initiatives.
The ideal candidate must be a proven public-market executive with a successful track record of leading a corporate entity through an IPO process.
IPO Project
- IPO Readiness Audit: Complete a comprehensive gap analysis of the group’s financial controls, corporate structure, and compliance within the first 90 days.
- Accounting Transition: Successfully migrate or align all regional entity books into a consolidated IFRS framework ready for reporting accountants.
- Syndicate Assembly: Appoint and manage the IPO working party, including Joint Sponsors, Legal Counsels (Singapore, HK, and Cayman/Offshore), and Underwriters.
Group Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Regional Operations: Oversee all financial planning, tax optimization, treasury, and accounting functions across Singapore and Southeast Asian subsidiaries.
- Corporate Governance: Restructure the Singapore finance function to meet public-facing governance, risk management, and rigorous internal control standards.
- Board Reporting: Provide the Board and Audit Committee with clear, strategic visibility into cash burn, profitability metrics, and listing budgets.
Candidate Profile & Experience Requirements
- Completed IPO Track Record: Must have served as CFO or VP of Finance for a company through a successfully completed IPO. (Direct experience with HKEX, SGX, or US listings is required).
- Leadership Tenure: Minimum 12 years of financial leadership experience, with a strong background working within Singapore’s corporate ecosystem.
- Cross-Border Management: Proven ability to manage multi-currency environments, regional tax structures, and transfer pricing in Asia-Pacific.
- Accounting Frameworks: Expert-level mastery of IFRS or HKFRS.
- Credentials: University degree in Finance/Accounting. CA (Singapore), CPA, or ACCA designation is mandatory.
- Professional Fluency: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- Regional Capability: Professional proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous to effectively communicate with regulators, mainland sponsors, and regional investors.
