Our Client is a leading China-based enterprises in the medical industry with a huge emphasis on AI development, and a strong commitment to innovation and quality. As they are on an ambitious plan to expand our operations internationally, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and support our growth initiatives from our Singapore office.
The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company and driving its financial strategy to support our international expansion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial management, international markets, and compliance. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and other executives to ensure the financial health of the organization while fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and international expansion plans.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure effective allocation of resources and financial stability.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the company’s assets and profitability.
- Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and funding options to support strategic initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate financial performance and strategy to the board of directors, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, marketing, and sales, to support overall business objectives and drive profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles, with a proven track record in a CFO or similar position in PRC based companies.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in both China and international markets in medical related industry.
- Experience in managing financial operations for companies expanding overseas as well as IPO experience is considered as an advantage.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team.
