🤝 In This Role, You Will
• Lead the company’s financial strategy, ensuring strong governance, sustainable growth, and efficient capital allocation.
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, and compliance.
• Build and maintain scalable financial systems, processes, and controls suitable for a regulated, multi-entity group structure.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to support strategic planning, pricing strategy, and commercial modelling for new products and markets.
• Manage investor relations, board reporting, and preparation for future fundraising or financing activities.
• Optimise cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management across both Checkboard and its regulated payment subsidiary.
• Ensure adherence to FCA, and other relevant regulatory requirements affecting financial operations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team capable of supporting rapid growth and cross-border operations.
• Provide clear, data-driven insight to guide decision-making across product, operations, and commercial teams.
