This is a senior board role with ownership of financial leadership, regulatory accountability, and long-term stability for the UK entity. How you’ll make an impact
- Lead all financial operations for the UK entity, ensuring compliance with FCA and PRA requirements.
- Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Act as the primary finance contact for the Board, senior leadership, and regulators.
- Chair the Consumer Credit & Finance Committee and support strong governance across the entity.
- Manage statutory filings including VAT, corporation tax, and audit processes.
- Ensure new products are fully mapped through finance systems.
- Build long-term financial strategy, forecasting, and capital planning for regulatory submissions.
- Develop P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, and capital forecasts used in FCA/PRA processes.
- Support stress testing, recovery, and resolution planning with Treasury and Risk.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a joined-up Finance team across Accounting and Analytics.
- Partner with Group Finance, FP&A, and Regulatory teams to align reporting and controls.
- Provide strategic insight to support decisions on funding, product development, and risk appetite.
- Manage inter-company relationships to ensure fair and transparent transfer pricing.

Why you’re a great fit
Essential
To be considered for this position you must have current or previous experience in Banking.
- You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong experience in a regulated financial services environment.
- Skilled in leading entity-level finance for an FCA-regulated firm.
- Comfortable engaging directly with regulators and senior stakeholders.
- Able to balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
