Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization’s financial planning, management, and reporting functions. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and driving sustainable growth. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to foster growth and stability.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and expense control.
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and regulatory filings.
- Manage corporate accounting functions in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant standards such as ASC 606 for revenue recognition.
- Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations), and other regulatory frameworks to safeguard organizational integrity.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial threats and develop mitigation strategies through effective risk management practices.
- Oversee treasury management activities including cash flow optimization, banking relationships, investment strategies, and liquidity planning.
- Lead mergers & acquisitions initiatives by evaluating potential opportunities, performing due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning efforts to support business development initiatives and market expansion.
- Supervise financial software systems for accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis; ensure technological tools support efficient operations.
- Manage governmental accounting requirements and ensure adherence to compliance standards for nonprofit or public sector organizations if applicable.
- Direct cost control measures across supply chain operations while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop financial models for forecasting future performance; interpret complex financial data to inform decision-making processes.
- Lead negotiations with external partners including auditors, investors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Foster a high-performance finance team through mentorship, supervision of staff involved in payroll management, cost accounting, technical accounting, tax accounting, and other finance functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive with extensive supervisory responsibilities in diverse organizational settings.
- Deep understanding of financial concepts such as profit & loss management, cost control, revenue cycle management, and fiscal management strategies.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including GAAP, IFRS/IAS standards, SOX compliance requirements, ASC 606 revenue recognition rules, COSO internal controls framework, and governmental accounting if relevant.
- Expertise in financial analysis tools and software systems that enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning alongside business development initiatives to drive organizational growth.
- Exceptional skills in negotiation coupled with excellent communication for effective financial report writing and interpretation.
- Experience in mergers & acquisitions processes from evaluation through integration; familiarity with market analysis is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.
- Knowledge of treasury management practices including cash flow forecasting and investment oversight.
- Ability to manage budgets meticulously while controlling expenses without compromising operational excellence.
- Technical proficiency in cost accounting, technical accounting standards (such as IFRS/GAAP), tax accounting practices, payroll management systems, and advanced financial modeling techniques.

Pay: $144,343.39 - $173,832.89 per year
