Join our dynamic North Americas Service organization as a
Business Operations Application Specialist. In this role, you will lead the optimization, governance, and continuous improvement of business applications that power our service operations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and ensure our systems deliver reliability, scalability, and efficiency. How You’ll Make An Impact
- Partner with Operations Field Service and business teams to analyze and improve end-to-end processes.
- Lead implementation and development for the Augmentir application in Canada.
- Align applications with strategic business objectives and service delivery goals.
- Document and optimize workflows to reduce inefficiencies and improve customer outcomes.
- Serve as subject matter expert for core business applications (Augmentir, Non-ERP Applications, Service Management platforms).
- Define and enforce best practices, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Develop and roll out UAT and training for application upgrades and enhancements.
- Establish and maintain data governance policies for accuracy and security.
- Oversee master data management processes for reliable decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and introduce digital tools.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business applications, process optimization, and data governance within a service-oriented organization.
- Strong knowledge of or ability to learn non-ERP applications including Augmentir, CRM, and service management platforms integrated with SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
- Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
