A high-growth luxury retail business with an international footprint is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to join its leadership team. The Role
As CFO, you will play a pivotal strategic role in driving the financial performance, stability, and long-term growth of the business. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will lead all aspects of financial strategy, planning, operations, and governance; ensuring the business is equipped with the insights, systems, and capabilities needed to scale internationally. You will act as a trusted strategic partner to the executive leaders and a key point of contact for investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a robust financial strategy aligned to growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and board-level reporting, ensuring the business has accurate, real-time insights to support decision-making.
- Oversee risk management, compliance, audit, and financial controls across multiple international entities.
- Optimise capital structure, manage cashflow, and lead fundraising, investment analysis, and strategic financial planning.
- Partner closely with commercial, operations, and sales teams to drive performance, refine processes, and unlock growth opportunities.
- Act as a key liaison for investors and stakeholders, providing clear communication on performance, strategy, and financial outlook.
- Support strategic initiatives, including potential M&A, market expansion, and operational transformation.
About You
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in high-growth luxury retail, e-commerce, or a related consumer sector.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling finance functions, implementing systems, and improving financial processes.
- Strong blend of commercial acumen and technical finance expertise.
- Experience in stock-based environments, operating across multiple jurisdictions and currencies, with a solid understanding of FX, VAT, and international tax considerations.
- Confident leader with outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proven track record working across both SME and large, complex organisations is highly beneficial.
- Experienced in investor relations and comfortable operating in a high-visibility role.
