The Opportunity
Minfy is seeking a visionary, growth-focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its global financial strategy and operations. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for guiding the company through its hyper-growth phase, preparing for private equity/investor rounds, and ultimately, a potential Initial Public Offering (IPO). This role requires a unique combination of classical, meticulous financial stewardship and a futuristic, digital - first mindset capable of understanding and driving growth in the high-velocity Cloud, Data, and AI technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Governance: Serve as the principal financial advisor to the CEO; participate in Board meetings; maintain a standing agenda with the Audit Committee.
- Strategic Financial Leadership & Planning: Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Team, driving long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to sustain Minfy's high growth trajectory and maximize profitability.
- Global Financial Architecture: Oversee and scale multi-country financial operations, compliance, tax, and treasury across US, EU, APAC, and India; ensure robust controls and governance tailored to international markets.
- Pre-IPO/Investor Readiness: Lead financial due diligence, structure capital raises, and prepare systems, reporting, and governance for potential IPO or strategic exit; deliver investor-grade discipline and timetables.
- Digital & New-Age Financial Acumen: Develop pricing strategies and metrics relevant to a cutting-edge cloud and AI solutions provider, including (e.g., Cloud FinOps, consumption-based pricing, IP monetization).
- PE/Investor Relations: Manage relationships with existing and potential investors; articulate performance, growth narrative, and path to scale with transparency and rigor.
- Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP as applicable; steward internal controls; coordinate statutory, internal, and limited audits with Big 4/6 firms; drive remediation to ‘no qualifications’.
- Cross-Border M&A and Integration: Identify, evaluate, structure, and execute M&A; oversee post-acquisition financial integration and synergy tracking; govern earn-out mechanics.
- Systems & Data: Sponsor Automation/AI/Gen AI Initiatives, ERP/BI road-map and data governance; enable secure integrations to investor analytics platforms and portfolio reporting.
- Risk & Controls: Maintain enterprise risk registers across reporting, tax, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and hyperscaler program obligations (e.g., structured co-sell commitments).
Reporting & Governance Interfaces
- CEO — weekly cadence on performance, risks, and priorities.
- Audit Committee — oversight, quarterly reviews and governance.
- Board of Directors — periodic reporting; support reserved matters; ensure timely, accurate information flow.
Candidate Profile: Must-Have Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and experiences:
- Education & Certification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Proven experience in investor relations and engagement with PE/institutional investors.
- Pre-IPO preparation or near-term exit readiness leadership in a high-growth tech services context.
- Cross-border M&A lifecycle experience (modeling, diligence, closing, integration).
- Multi-country finance leadership across US/APAC/India.
- Deep familiarity with Cloud, Data, and AI/GenAI services, economics and metrics.
- Systems orientation (ERP/BI), automation mindset, and ability to operate with the Board and its committees.
Candidate Profile: Preferred Requirements
- MBA in Finance/Strategy from a recognized institution.
- Background in productized IT services or Cloud/SaaS.
- Immediate availability or willingness to relocate to Hyderabad as primary base.
