Chief Financial Officer (CFO) | Advanced Aerospace | Onsite/Hybrid, Dubai (Relocation Required & Supported)
A rapidly scaling advanced aerospace organisation is establishing a major new global headquarters and manufacturing presence in Dubai. Backed by substantial long-term funding (multi-year runway secured), the company is embarking on a top-down rebuild of its organisation, bringing in world-class engineering, operations, safety and corporate leadership talent from around the globe.
With major partnerships and an ambitious multi-year operational roadmap, this is a rare opportunity to join at “day zero” and build the financial foundation, governance structures and commercial visibility of a next-generation aerospace company.
CFO Brief
The Chief Financial Officer will be the company’s first dedicated finance leader in Dubai and will build out the finance function from scratch.
This is a hands-on, senior corporate role responsible for establishing all financial operations, owning governance reporting, and partnering closely with the CEO, CIO, CTO, etc.
You will operate as the central point for all financial strategy, commercial analysis and investor-level reporting — ensuring the business scales with accuracy, discipline and a strict focus on unit economics.
CFO Responsibilities
- Build and operationalise the full finance function for a high-growth aerospace organisation starting from day zero.
- Own all financial operations: accounting, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, month-end close and audit preparation.
- Lead commercial reporting and governance frameworks, including board packs, investor reporting, compliance structures and internal controls.
- Drive unit-economics clarity across the organisation: develop models, metrics and reporting that illuminate cost drivers, margins, payback and long-term financial resilience.
- Oversee annual Big 4 audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.
- Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, and construction teams to evaluate financial impacts, optimise cost structures and support decision-making.
- Build pricing, scenario and financial models to support multi-year product, manufacturing and operational planning.
- Establish corporate governance processes to support large-scale organisational growth, including risk management, procurement frameworks and expenditure controls.
CFO Requirements
- Senior Financial Controller or equivalent corporate finance leader ready to step into their first CFO role, or proven experience within this role.
- Big 4 audit background with significant experience managing or leading annual audits in complex organisations.
- Strong commercial finance and governance reporting experience — able to produce high-clarity board packs and investor-ready financial insights.
- Deep capability in unit economics, financial modelling, commercial analysis and strategic planning.
- Ideally, experienced within complex, engineering-heavy, manufacturing, aerospace, defence or large-scale project environments.
- Proven ability to build financial processes, systems and controls from the ground up.
- Exceptional communication and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive operator with the confidence to own the full finance function in a fast-scaling, high-performance environment.
Benefits
- Live and work in Dubai — one of the world’s fastest-growing centres for finance, technology, engineering and aerospace innovation.
- Build a complete finance function from scratch and shape the company’s governance and commercial frameworks for years to come.
- Partner with world-class executives in engineering, operations, construction, data and corporate strategy.
- World-class salary on offer — highly competitive.
- Full relocation support including housing, relocation costs, business-class flights and more.
This role is open to global applicants. Relocation to Dubai is required.
