Our well-known client in the entertainment industry is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team on a 4-month contract, in Burbank, CA, with the potential to extend. The Project Coordinator supports operational and project-based initiatives by maintaining vendor relationships, analyzing business processes, and ensuring effective project coordination. This role operates above an administrative level while supporting leadership by managing project workflows, tracking performance, and delivering insights for non IT initiatives. The position typically reports to a project manager or director and plays a key role in aligning business operations with organizational goals. Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain communication channels across business units and project teams to ensure alignment and information flow
- Manage storage and retrieval of project communications, documentation, and business performance metrics
- Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements for accuracy and compliance
- Develop project structures, including project plans and work breakdown structures
- Define and document business processes to improve operational efficiency and consistency
- Track project budgets, monitor expenditures, and evaluate costs against established budgets
- Support transaction controls and ensure financial accuracy across projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 0 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in business operations, analysis, or project support
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple priorities
- Understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
- Ability to apply basic accounting and mathematical concepts in a business setting
- Analytical skills to assess business trends and forecast revenue and expenses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
