Growing industrial services company is looking for an industry experienced CFO. The CFO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, leadership team, and private equity sponsor, owning all aspects of financial operations, systems, analytics, capital planning, M&A, and value creation. They will lead the finance function through rapid expansion, system upgrades, acquisition integrations, and a future recapitalization event.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic and Operational Finance Leadership
· Lead all financial operations including accounting, reporting, forecasting, cash management, and budgeting with accuracy, speed, and discipline.
· Rapidly assess current systems and processes, then implement improvements that elevate financial accuracy, controls, and visibility.
· Partner with the CEO on multi-year value creation plans, long-range models, and annual operating plans.
· Provide timely financial insights and KPIs that help branch leaders and operations teams drive performance.
· Build dashboards, analytics, and tools that empower better decision making at every level of the organization.
· Ensure strong controls, compliance, job costing accuracy, and working capital discipline.
· Lead all financial diligence, modeling, synergy planning, and deal structuring for acquisitions.
· Partner with operations leadership to drive alignment, stability, and synergy capture in the first 90 days post close.
· Support ongoing deal evaluation and contribute to shaping capital structure and long term growth strategy.
· Manage lender relationships, banking facilities, covenants, and cash forecasting.
· Lead board packages, investor communication, monthly financial reviews, and enterprise performance reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
·3+ years of CFO level experience in an industrial services industry
10+ years of percentage of completion accounting experinece
Track record leading the finance function in a growing, multi-location services or field
Strong M&A experience including financial diligence, integration planning, modeling, synergy identification, and post close execution.
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite
Demonstrated success building financial systems and teams capable of supporting rapid scale.
Experience managing lender relationships, credit facilities, covenants, and cash forecasting.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
· CPA strongly preferred.
· MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required.
Pay: $225,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
