The Go-To-Market (GTM) Associate will join the REDspace Venture Studio and serve as the first introduction for new, high-potential ventures. This entrepreneurial, high-stakes role requires writing the commercial playbook from scratch, not executing an existing one. The Associate will be directly responsible for taking a raw product concept from a "slide deck" to its first dollar of revenue, aggressively validating market demand, and setting the commercial foundation for a scalable business.
This is an opportunity to build multiple sales and growth engines from scratch in a dynamic, high-velocity environment, requiring a relentless "hunter" mentality and a full-stack sales and growth athlete approach. Want to join our team? This is a role that will be based out of our office in Bedford, NS.
At REDspace (REDspace.com) we’re a team of passionate innovators building cutting-edge software that powers some of the world’s leading brands. From video delivery and streaming to Adtech, cloud engineering, learning platforms, and custom web development, we help businesses solve complex problems and bring big ideas to life. Our clients include industry giants like Apple, Paramount, IBM, and Sony Pictures Television.
We’re proud of the culture we’ve built; collaborative, curious, and people-focused. We support each other, celebrate wins, and never stop learning. If that sounds like your kind of team, we’d love to hear from you.
The GTM Associate will act as the first introduction to net-new products, focusing on intense, creative market validation and the generation of early revenue.
-
Market Validation & Revenue Generation: Identify and generate first-mover revenue opportunities by validating product theses through targeted prospecting and qualification of potential anchor clients.
- End-to-End Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and outreach to closing the first critical contracts for new ventures.
- Aggressive Market Testing (The Hustle): Conduct aggressive market testing using creative full-cycle outbound strategies, including high-volume cold calling, social selling (DM outreach), and email campaigns.
- Process Building & Lead Generation: Build and maintain prospect lists using advanced techniques (scraping, data enrichment) to establish a repeatable and scalable lead generation process.
- Micro-Marketing Execution: Execute micro-marketing campaigns (e.g., ad tests, landing pages, webinars) to generate early top-of-funnel activity and gather market intelligence.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide accurate and timely reporting on market validation results, outreach metrics, and pipeline status to the Venture Studio leadership team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess an exceptional blend of sales acumen, technical proficiency, and entrepreneurial drive.
-
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, ideally within a high-growth tech environment or startup setting.
- Mindset: Demonstrable experience and a natural "hunter" mentality, with a track record of creating opportunities rather than solely relying on inbound leads.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep proficiency in independently utilizing modern GTM tools for list building, sequencing, and automation (e.g., Apollo.io, Clay, HubSpot, Sales Navigator).
- Communication: Exceptional written communication skills, with a portfolio of writing compelling, non-generic cold emails and outreach copy.
- Adaptability & Ambiguity: Comfortable operating in highly ambiguous environments where processes are undefined, demonstrating the ability to write the playbook rather than follow an existing one.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required for independent pipeline management and documentation of rapid product iterations.
- Education (Preferred): Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or technology is preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Familiarity with the Venture Studio model and the unique challenges of rapidly scaling and validating multiple concepts concurrently.
