Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO, www.youthhubs.ca) is a network of 32, Integrated Youth Services (IYS) hub networks that currently operate in 40 communities, where young people ages 12 to 25 years have walk-in access to youth-centered, community-based mental health and wellness services. YWHO engages youth, family members, service providers, and other partners through a co-creation process, enhancing the relevance, acceptability, and youth friendliness of services. The hubs are provincially consistent in core features and locally led and adapted to offer and connect to a range of evidence-based services—mental health care, substance use health services, primary care, education, employment, housing, peer support, family support and care navigation—in youth-friendly spaces. Outcomes are rigorously evaluated within and across hubs, focusing on positive outcomes in areas of wellness important to youth and their families.
Position Description
The YWHO Provincial Office at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, permanent Senior Business Operations Analyst. This position will report to the YWHO Director Operations, and work closely with the YWHO Provincial Office Leadership team and the 32 YWHO Network Lead organizations across Ontario. The position will support operational and project decision-making by providing analysis such as but not limited to: quarterly and annual financial tracking, business planning, budget development and monitoring, and statistical trending and reporting. This role will also play a pivotal function in maintaining a positive and responsive relationship with all Network Lead organizations, collaborating with finance and other senior leadership at Network Lead organizations, ensuring funding reporting requirements and accountabilities are met. The role will also support business planning, budget development and monitoring and financial analytics for YWHO PO Leadership, support financial reporting to funders, and work closely with CAMH Finance department. This position is located at 80 Workman Way, Toronto.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with YWHO Network Leads across Ontario
- Work with Network Leads and YWHO Provincial Office Leadership to analyze and bring forward operations related requests
- Have ongoing discussions with YWHO PO Leadership to help identify risks
- Strengthen relationships with CAMH Finance and Network Leads with regular communication and effective feedback
- Review and improve internal controls and assist with ensuring compliance with internal controls, CAMH policies, funding guidelines, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide support in regular and ad hoc reporting including specific month-end reporting tasks, variance analysis, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting
- Maintain financial and related documentation
- Track program and project expenditures, and provide regular financial reports and analysis to project/team leads.
- Initiate, process, and track payments to funded Network Leads
- Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies and develop improvements for implementation.
- Prioritize critical business requirements based on their potential impact on operational efficiency, independently evaluating the urgency and significance of each requirement to facilitate effective decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to streamline processes and reduce costs
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
- Ensure that the program is in compliance of organizational policies and guidelines
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks
- Support and participate in risk management, financial accountability, and quality improvement activities with the YWHO PO.
- Perform work in accordance with applicable revisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, professional standards and guidelines, and CAMH corporate and departmental Policies and Procedures

Job Requirements
- A University Degree in Business or a related field is required, as well as a minimum three (3) years of business analysis or related experience, with a strong preference given to experience in healthcare or public sector environments.
- Knowledge of the Health Care sector and the Ministry of Health and Ontario Health reporting requirements is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Proficiency in business intelligence/reporting tools would be advantageous
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with minimal supervision are required.
- You will have sound analytical and problem-solving skills and must demonstrate a keen attention to detail, sound judgment and the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.

- Demonstrated ability to work with in collaboration with diverse stakeholders and partners and youth of diverse backgrounds and equity deserving groups (such as First Nations, Métis, Inuit and other racialized people).
- Diplomacy and tact and experience working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, building successful collaborative relationships across departments and YWHO partner agencies. Able to effectively represent the organization to external stakeholders, partner agencies.
- Demonstrated skills and commitment to data driven/evidence-informed decision making.
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, produce and coordinate projects to tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communications and a strong customer service approach
- Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
