About the Role
We’re hiring full-time in Business Operations to join one of the fastest-growing CPG startups in Canada. Candidates with 3-5 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that touches all facets of the business, including operations, logistics, business development, finance, and marketing. You’ll work directly with the founders and flex across multiple areas of the business, helping us stay organized, scale quickly, and operate with excellence.
If you thrive in fast, scrappy environments, love solving ambiguous problems, and want a front-row seat to building and scaling a brand, you’ll be a great fit. No two days will look the same, and you’ll learn a lot, quickly.
The position is remote, with required in-person support for events and trade shows.
Examples of What You Might Work On
- Day-to-Day Operations and Logistics: Customer and key account support, coordinate B2B/B2C shipments, manage supply chain and logistics partners, track inventory, and resolve delivery issues.
- Process Development: Help build and refine systems, workflows, automations, and documentation that drive operational efficiency.
- Research & Analysis: Gather data, maintain spreadsheets, and provide insights that support decision-making.
- Trade Shows & Events: Help organize, coordinate, staff, and execute trade shows - including occasional weekends - and act as a brand ambassador.
- Business Development: Support end-to-end B2B sales, including outreach, relationship management, order processing, and invoicing.
- Special Projects: Help founders and team members identify and solve problems; taking ownership from ideation to execution.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and execute with detail and accuracy, quickly
- 3 years of professional experience with a track record of excellence
- Strong analytical thinking and intermediate Excel/Google Sheets abilities (formulas, lookups, pivots)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving startup environment. Execution-driven mindset.
- Able to work some days in person in Toronto
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in business operations, and startups
- Ability to quickly adopt new technologies (e.g., Zapier, Notion, QuickBooks, Google Sheets)
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple moving pieces and priorities
- Ability to operate as a self-starter and thrive in an ambiguous environment
- Comfort interacting with retailers, vendors, and partners
