With responsibility for a lean but growing finance function, transitioning from operational maturity to enterprise‑grade strategic finance capability, the CFO will support the CEO, executive leadership team and Board in driving sustainable growth through high-quality financial management, disciplined investment decision-making, robust governance, and effective engagement with capital partners, including private equity and banking institutions.

The Role
The CFO is a key member of the executive leadership team, accountable for providing financial leadership, commercial insight, and capital discipline across the organisation.

Your Profile
CA or CPA qualified you bring a strong record of senior financial leadership gained within professional services or similarly regulated environments, operating either as an established CFO or as a high‑performing senior finance leader ready to step into your first CFO role. Experience supporting enterprise‑level decisions in growing, multi‑entity or multi‑office organisations is essential.
With your foundational finance training gained ideally within a chartered accounting firm, your career will likely reflect a mix of established and scaling services businesses, where you have strengthened governance, embedded financial discipline, and supported leadership teams through growth, change, or acquisition‑led expansion. Significant exposure to mergers and acquisitions, strategic investment, or major business initiatives is essential.
Additionally, prior experience working with private equity, minority investors, or other strategic capital partners and exposure to banking and debt funding, including lender reporting, covenant management, and facility negotiations would be advantageous though not essential.
You demonstrate sound commercial judgement and clear ownership of financial outcomes. You are comfortable advising CEOs and Boards on complex issues including capital allocation, investment decisions, risk, and performance trade‑offs, and are known for delivering concise, evidence‑based recommendations.
You are an effective executive communicator who translates complex financial information into clear, decision‑ready insight. You are comfortable being in the detail, leading a small finance team, setting high standards across governance, reporting, and performance, and operating decisively in high‑stakes, evolving environments.
