Full Job Description
This dynamic business is an integral and beloved part of Sydney's culture and history, providing an important service to many businesses. Currently in an exciting stage of transformation there is an opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the Leadership Team.
Reporting to the CEO and part of the ELT, you will lead a team and be responsible for all accounting & finance and IT functions. The role is hands on and requires someone who is happy to be in the detail but also a strategic leader capable of looking at big picture issues and experienced at influencing Board and senior stakeholders - internal and external.
Key responsibilities of the role include strategic and long-range planning, preparation of business cases and recommendations, risk & compliance, treasury and funding, IT and systems transformation, management and statutory reporting, FP&A and commercial activities, and leading and developing a high performing team.
An experienced leader, you are adept at influencing senior stakeholders and together with your commercial nous and knowledge of operations you are comfortable driving and shaping long term strategy.
You will be proven leader, CA/CPA qualified, and experience in property development, project feasibilities, and or supply chain and logistics would be highly regarded. The ideal candidate has a transformation mindset and a strong background in commercial and strategic finance.
