We are seeking a high calibre, strategic, growth-oriented CFO who can take full responsibility for overall financial management of the business and play a key role as part of the PLC Board. Along with the CEO and COO, the CFO is one of three Executive Directors who work closely together and are accountable to the Board for the overall performance of the Company.
The CFO leads and aligns the efforts of Finance and Reporting, Finance Planning and Analysis, Global Corporate Governance, Global Treasury, Investor Relations, Global Corporate Law, Tax, Risk, Audit & Compliance, General Counsel, Company Secretary and Information Systems functions to drive operational efficiency, innovation and sustainable growth, whilst enabling seamless execution of Alfa’s Corporate Objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape Corporate Strategy: Partner with the CEO, COO and Board to define strategic objectives and long-term financial goals.
- Financial Leadership: Drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting; ensure robust capital structure and liquidity management.
- Investor & Market Engagement: Lead relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions; oversee public financial disclosures.
- Governance & Risk: Ensure PLC compliance, regulatory adherence, and effective risk management frameworks.
- Global Operations: Oversee international financial operations, tax compliance, and expansion into new markets.
- ESG: Leadership of our ESG strategy.
- Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and inclusion.
About You
Required experience
- Proven experience leading the finance function of a listed company.
- Strong track record in strategic financial leadership and governance.
- Hands-on experience of all aspects of investor relations.
- Expertise in capital markets and global operations.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
- Degree educated. A qualified accountant - ACA, CIMA or other equivalent professional qualification
Preferred experience
- Experience of enterprise software development and/or implementation.
- M&A expertise.
- Trained at a leading global accounting firm.
