Accounting & Finance Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger scrutiny
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts
- Preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow Statements
- Maintain accuracy of store-wise and HO-level accounts
Statutory & Tax Compliance
- Handle end-to-end GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and audits
- Ensure timely compliance of TDS, Professional Tax, and other applicable statutory dues
- Coordination with GST, Income Tax, and Statutory Auditors
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and assessments
Retail & Cost Control
Monitor store-wise profitability, margins, and expenses
- Implement cost-control measures and variance analysis
- Track inventory accounting and coordinate with operations for stock reconciliation
Vendor & Banking Management
- Oversee vendor accounts, payment cycles, and reconciliations
- Manage banking operations, including fund planning, payments, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and approval processes
Reporting & MIS
- Managing the team in account departments
- Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management
- Provide financial insights for decision-making
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Team & Process Management
- Lead and guide the accounts team to ensure accuracy and timelines
- Improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs
Preferred candidate profile
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in retail/FMCG/multi-location business
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax & Accounting Standards
- Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP systems
- Good understanding of inventory accounting & retail operations
- Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
- Having a leadership quality and team management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
