Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
London | Permanent | PE-Backed Fintech Lender | £160,000-£180,000 + Bonus + LTIP
We are working on a CFO appointment for a private-equity-backed, technology-enabled lending business operating in the UK SME market.
With strong institutional backing, it is entering the next phase of its growth and requires a commercial, hands-on CFO to help lead the business through a full PE cycle.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO and Board, the CFO will play a critical role in:
- Leading the finance function of a scaled alternative lending platform
- Acting as a strategic partner to the PE sponsor and senior leadership team
- Driving financial discipline, governance, and reporting in a regulated lending environment
- Supporting growth initiatives, capital strategy, and funding structures
- Preparing the business for future value-creation events (refinancing, exit)
The Ideal Profile
We are looking for a CFO who brings:
- Senior finance leadership experience within fintech, alternative lending, or private credit
- Exposure to Merchant Cash Advance (MCA)
- A proven track record of working withPE/VC investors
- Strong commercial instincts alongside robust technical finance capability
