Pearse Professionals are supporting a well-backed full-fibre infrastructure business in seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer to support the executive team during a key transition and growth phase. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring deep, first-hand experience within the fibre / telecoms sector.
The successful candidate will provide strong financial leadership in a capital-intensive environment, working closely with the CEO, Board and investors to ensure financial discipline, clear reporting and confident decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Full ownership of finance across the business, including reporting, controls, FP&A and governance
- Cashflow management and forecasting within a large-scale fibre build environment
- Oversight of network build economics, capex planning and cost control
- Partnering with commercial and operational teams on growth, pricing and margin performance
- Board, lender and investor reporting, including preparation of Board packs
- Oversight of funding structures, debt facilities and covenant compliance
- Strengthening finance processes and systems appropriate for a scaling fibre business
- Providing steady leadership to the finance function during a transition period
Essential experience
- Previous CFO or Finance Director experience within fibre, telecoms or broadband infrastructure
- Strong understanding of full-fibre economics (build costs, take-up, ARPU, ROI)
- Experience in investor-backed, private equity or highly leveraged environments
- Proven interim or transformation experience
- Comfortable operating at pace in complex, fast-growing organisations
