Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
7–15 years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, construction materials, or building products industries.
Proven track record of multi-site management, including leading managers.
Demonstrated expertise in P&L oversight, driving sales performance, and operational improvements.
Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
The Regional Director of Business Operations is responsible for leading and managing multiple districts within an assigned region. This position acts as a key connection between field operations and senior leadership—driving growth, operational efficiency, and leadership development across all markets. The Regional Director will oversee district leaders and ensure regional performance in areas such as sales, profitability, working capital, and customer satisfaction, while supporting company-wide strategic initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Financial Leadership: Maintain full accountability for regional financial performance; monitor key metrics and implement strategies to improve revenue, margins, expenses, and working capital.
- Operational Excellence: Partner with district leaders to standardize processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with corporate standards in safety, service, and profitability.
- Leadership Development: Build and mentor a strong leadership team; provide coaching, assess talent, and prepare succession plans for future growth.
- Sales & Market Growth: Support business development efforts; strengthen customer relationships and drive initiatives to expand market share.
- Strategic Execution: Lead implementation of enterprise initiatives (technology, safety, HR, or integration projects) and ensure successful adoption across the region.
- Working Capital Management: Monitor and improve financial discipline in areas such as receivables, inventory, backlog, and margin integrity.
