Our client is a well-known manufacturing company that was recently acquired by a well-known private equity firm in the middle market. As part of that transition, there is a need for a new Chief Financial Officer to join their leadership team and be part of a rapidly growing and complex business that they anticipate will grow significantly over the next few years.
This leader will help to drive the culture, support M&A activities and lead an ERP implementation project all towards a goal of doubling the business over the next several years.
The CFO will ultimately be responsible for overseeing the closing of the financials, optimization of the financial reporting, and co-presenting to the Board of Directors with the CEO. The CFO will be responsible for day‐to‐day operations of the financial and accounting functions and will serve as a business partner to the CEO and the senior leadership team. The CFO will help refine and evaluate operational metrics, support the improvement of business processes, and assure the integrity of all financial data. The CFO will also play a key role in M&A diligence and integration efforts.
It is critical that the candidate is a self-starter and can thrive in a private equity-backed business.
