Outbound is not our primary growth channel but when done well, it’s a powerful precision lever for generating high-quality sales opportunities.
We’re now hiring a GTM Engineer to scale this motion the right way.
About the Role:
We're looking for a GTM Engineer to be the technical architect and operator of our outbound sales engine. This is a hands-on role focused on building, maintaining, and scaling the systems that generate Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs). If you love solving business problems with code and marketing automation, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Build Outbound Plays: Design and execute play-based outbound campaigns (e.g., competitor displacement, closed-lost resurrection, expansion signals). Define clear entry criteria, messaging hypotheses, and kill conditions for each play.
- Own the Outbound Data Pipeline: Source, enrich, and ensure the quality of account and contact data using tools like LinkedIn, data providers, and custom scraping/APIs.
- Orchestrate the Outbound Stack: Act as the primary operator for our GTM tech stack: SmartLead (email execution), Zoho CRM (trigger/tracking), and n8n/Python (orchestration, scraping, enrichment). Ensure the system is reliable, measurable, and scalable.
- Optimize Performance: Focus heavily on email deliverability, smart throttling, and A/B testing (subject lines, CTAs) to maximize SQOs.
What You Will NOT Own (Focus is Key):
This role is focused only on outbound GTM systems and does not include Inbound lead management, CRM hygiene, RevOps governance, or managing sales reps.
What We're Looking For:
- 1–3 years experience building outbound systems for SaaS.
- Comfortable with Python for scraping, APIs, and logic.
- Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier-like).
- Proven ability to build cold outbound campaigns beyond simple "lists + sequences."
- Strong understanding of email deliverability and compliance risks.
- Thinks in plays, triggers, and systems.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Clay and with email tools like Smartlead, Instantly etc.,
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM and/or Salesforce
