The Director of Sales Operations is a highly influential individual contributor responsible for enabling sales effectiveness, operational excellence, and targeted scalable growth across the Americas region. This role partners closely with Capital Sales, Sales Account managers, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to optimize sales processes, improve forecast accuracy, and deliver actionable insights and actions that support the commercial business objectives.
Key Objectives
• Enable predictable orders and revenue growth through best-in-class sales operations practices, territory insights and performance analytics.
• Improve sales productivity, forecast accuracy, and process efficiency through adoption and utilization of our business systems.
• Ensure disciplined execution of sales strategies through data, systems, and insights.
• Develop incentive plans to drive sales behaviors aligned to company goals.
Core Responsibilities
• Own sales operational workflows including quoting, pricing approvals, contracting, forecasting, opportunity management and associated reporting.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reporting for sales performance and pipeline health and performance KPI’s.
• Support CRM (Salesforce) data integrity and system optimization
• Lead automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Finance, and Operations
• Provide analytical support for territory planning and incentive compensation
• Develop training materials and documentation for sales tools and processes
• Own Americas order processing workflows and data accuracy
Qualifications
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Sales Operations or Commercial Operations
• Startup and medical device industry experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Guided selling tools and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills
