Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all financial operations for Clement Auto Group. This executive role is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial planning, compliance, risk management, and strategic financial initiatives across the entire organization. The ideal candidate is a proven automotive financial leader with deep dealership experience and the ability to partner closely with ownership to drive performance, scalability, and long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial operations across multiple dealership locations
- Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to ownership and executive management
- Oversee dealership accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements, forecasts, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with OEM requirements, state and federal regulations, and lender standards
- Manage cash flow, working capital, floorplan financing, and banking relationships
- Evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and controls to support growth
- Support acquisitions, divestitures, and integration of new dealerships
- Oversee tax strategy, audits, and relationships with external advisors
- Develop and mentor accounting and finance leadership across the organization
Qualifications
- Extensive automotive dealership financial leadership experience required
- Prior CFO, Controller, or Director-level experience within a dealer group preferred
- Deep understanding of dealership financial statements, KPIs, and operational metrics
- Proven experience managing multi-store operations and complex financial structures
- Strong strategic, analytical, and decision-making capabilities
- Experience with dealership DMS platforms and financial reporting systems
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
