Harman Automotive Services is seeking a dynamic
Senior Manager – Business Operations to play a mission‑critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our Automotive Services business. As a key member of the Business Operations team, you will partner closely with Engineering Delivery, Sales, Presales, Finance, HR, and Talent Acquisition to ensure seamless execution of business operations across the organization.
In this high‑impact role, you will lead and influence strategic operational initiatives that go far beyond day‑to‑day management. Your scope will include
Capacity Planning, Knowledge Management, Demand Forecasting, Program Management KPIs, Internal Fulfilment, Upskilling Initiatives, and Projection & Planning Programs—all essential to enabling the business to scale, innovate, and deliver with excellence.
What You Will Do
- Lead and orchestrate governance rhythms, driving review cycles that eliminate blockers, close actions, and ensure seamless execution of Business Operations while keeping critical KPIs on track.
- Own data integrity and operational insight, ensuring robust data processing, multi‑tool data management, and disciplined hygiene across complex information systems.
- Monitor and influence business performance, aligning operational governance with organizational, business, and function‑level goals to strengthen overall execution.
- Establish a forward‑looking KPI forecasting model, enabling data‑backed decision‑making by tracking performance trends and scenario indicators over time.
- Collaborate deeply with Sales, Presales, Strategy, and Partnerships, staying ahead of pipeline movements, new pursuits, and demand shifts that inform Engineering capacity and operational adjustments.
- Partner with Finance, Business Leaders, and Engineering Delivery to shape profitability outcomes, optimize workforce changes, and support regional expansion strategies.
- Drive alignment with enabling functions (Finance, HR, TA) through timely, accurate reporting that underpins key organizational decisions.
- Engage stakeholders through regular reviews, presenting insights via dashboards that guide actions for business growth and improved profitability.
- Steer end‑to‑end Workforce Management, ensuring resource optimization and operational efficiency aligned with business KPIs.
- Own Workforce Management processes, leveraging Harman’s tools and systems to execute high‑accuracy planning and governance.
- Maintain disciplined follow‑up cadences across cross‑functional process owners to ensure timely completion of business activities.
- Deliver weekly business reports, surfacing progress, risks, and outstanding actions with clarity and urgency.
- Ensure data adherence to Harman standards, validating accuracy across platforms in the Harman ecosystem.
What You Need To Be Successful
- 12–16 years of experience across Workforce Management, Bench Management, Sales Operations, and Business Operations within the Software Services industry.
- Deep knowledge of Workforce Management processes, cost control, and revenue optimization strategies.
- Hands-on expertise with business intelligence tools, navigating multi‑source data to extract insights that drive decisions.
- Advanced data analytics and visualization skills, especially with Microsoft Excel for complex, multi-dimensional datasets.
- Outstanding presentation and storytelling capabilities, able to craft and deliver high‑impact narratives to diverse business stakeholders.
- Proven mastery in developing operational KPI dashboards and presentations, particularly in areas such as RMG, Bench, Headcount, and Utilization.
- A creative, first‑principles problem‑solver who can operate without predefined structures and inspire cross‑functional collaboration.
- Exceptional organizational and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to navigate and influence at all levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication, enabling clear, concise, and persuasive engagement across the organization.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience in working within an Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier in the Automotive industry
- Experience in using AI tools to maximize efficiency in Business Operations and Workforce Management
