Join our Revenue Strategy & Operations Tools and Technology team to work closely with cross functional teams including Product Management, Pricing and Packaging, Product Owners, Information Technology, internal and external SFDC development and operate teams, Deal Desk and Order Management.
In this role you will lead CPQ related initiatives related to New Product Introduction process, Continuous Improvement and participate in transformation programs. You will ensure that the configure price & quote process for our account teams is simple, fast, accurate and agile, while adhering to industry best practices.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Drive requirements for CPQ related user stories based on inputs from Product Management and Pricing and Packaging teams. Help Product Owners document those requirements and testing criteria.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and the Dev team to ensure timely execution of the NPI process.
- Design and hands on keyboard prototype solutions before handing over the story to the development team.
- Create data mock ups and align them with cross functional teams.
- Participate in incident escalation triage & help the dev team with root cause analysis, then review the proposed solution.
- Prepare data grooms for data backfills & fixes
- Help process, enablement and product owner teams to document the solutions and provide inputs to release notes.
- Run ad hoc reporting to make data driven decisions.
- Act as a subject matter expert for all things CPQ for teams downstream inclusive of Order Management, Revenue Recognition and Analytics.
- What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- Salesforce CPQ expert with 5-8 years of experience on complex, global environments
- Proven exceptional stakeholder management skills within the NPI process, negotiating requirements and balancing process-based and tools-based solutions
- Strong collaboration skills with IT, Product, Finance, Order Management and End Users
- Good data related skills, proficiency in Excel, SOQL & SQL
- Basic understanding of ERP systems
- What You’ll Bring
- Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Experience with Logik. io or other advanced configurator. Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
- Demonstrated analytical/financial skills gained through formal education, certification or work experience
- Ability to manage CPQ data and reference data sets with hundreds of thousands of records
- Basic understanding of Oracle Order Management, Product Data Hub, Subscription and RMCS modules
- Strong knowledge of collaboration tools (Jira for user story management, ServiceNow for incident handling)
- Self-directed individual
- Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work closely with multiple functional areas to achieve desired outcomes
- The ability to professionally discuss business and technical issues with management and offer advice and alternatives
- Prior experience in finance, technology, pricing, solutions engineering or sales-support roles preferably for a SaaS company
- Knowledge of data warehousing and public cloud solutions
