Job Title: Vice President, Revenue Operations

The Role:
The Vice President of Revenue Operations will play a critical role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the media sales team. This position will be responsible for developing and executing the overall commercial operations strategy in alignment with the company’s long term business objectives. This includes yield maximization, analytics, forecasting, CRM, technology integration, workflow improvements from planning and pricing through billing and collections, and ad product/data strategy (in collaboration with the CPO/Product team). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, data analysis, and advertising sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Process Optimization:
- Streamline and improve ad sales workflows to enhance productivity.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to optimize revenue generation.
- Commercial Strategy
- Ensure buy-in and successful adoption of all commercial strategy and process changes/improvements to drive sales process standardization, high performance output and remove friction from the sales cycle.
- Data & Analytics:
- Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for leadership.
- Provide actionable insights to drive revenue growth and sales performance.
- CRM & Tools Management:
- Maintain and optimize CRM systems (Hubspot and The Foundry) to ensure data accuracy.
- Train and support sales teams on CRM usage and best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to align revenue goals.
- Partner with marketing to optimize lead generation and sales funnel conversion.
- Pricing & Inventory Management:
- Assist in the development of pricing strategies and ad inventory management.
- Analyze market trends to optimize pricing and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Revenue Forecasting & Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on revenue performance, pipeline status, and market trends.
- Present findings to executive leadership and provide strategic recommendations.
- Process Automation & Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Implement and manage sales automation tools to enhance team productivity.
- Provide Strategic Leadership, Coaching and Mentorship
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
10+ years of leadership experience in Sales Operations with a proven track record of driving measurable success (e.g. revenue growth, increased efficiency, forecast accuracy).
Strong understanding of digital advertising sales and revenue models.
Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analytics tools.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to translate data sets into clear and actionable strategies, identifying trends, interpreting data and proposing solutions.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Pricing and Inventory Management: including yield management/optimization, pricing/packaging/rate card structure.
Experience in and ability to manage:
Business Intelligence: data reporting and analysis.
Business Operations: optimize ad sales and campaign execution technology stack, manage vendor relationships for digital ad sales systems, continuous process and workflow improvement.
Ability to partner and collaborate with sales and technology leadership to build scalable processes, tech stack and organizational structure.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence and drive consensus.
Understanding of Ad Operations: campaign execution, optimization and new ad product testing.
Proven ability to build foundational workflows and technology stack and continually drive process improvement and operational efficiency projects to meet the needs of a growing business.
Experience leading, mentoring and managing high performing operations teams.

This is a hybrid full-time position reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer; must be based in the New York Metropolitan area.
