Role Overview
As a Junior Deal Desk Analyst, you will support sales teams by administering deals in the CRM system, ensuring adherence to pricing and commercial policies, and managing standard, low‑complexity approval workflows. The role emphasizes accurate deal execution, consistent process application, and effective seller enablement to support smooth and compliant deal progression.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:

Managing defined business‑segment approvals and standard business‑process approvals

Administering deals in the CRM system in line with established commercial and pricing rules
-
Supporting Deal Desk colleagues in applying and maintaining deal policies and approval frameworks
-
Reviewing deals for compliance with pricing, discount, and contractual rules
-
Providing structured guidance and information to sales teams to support their deal execution
Daily Activities
Your day‑to‑day work will include:

Analyzing incoming deals and validating them against both quantitative and qualitative approval criteria
-
Ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity in the CRM system
-
Challenging the status quo within defined guardrails to identify opportunities for price improvement and discount reduction
-
Managing clear and timely communication with sales representatives, including explaining approval decisions and required adjustments
-
Acting as a first‑line Deal Desk support (“help desk”) for seller questions on process, rules, and tooling
About You
You are detail‑oriented, confident, and comfortable working at the intersection of sales, pricing, and processes. While this is not a negotiation‑led role, you bring sound commercial judgment and can apply rules consistently, even under time pressure.
You are:

Firm but collaborative, able to work constructively with sales teams

Comfortable enforcing policies while maintaining positive working relationships

Willing to question inconsistencies and escalate when needed

Organized, reliable, and proactive in managing multiple requests
Qualifications

Relevant educational background (business, finance, economics, or similar)

Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk roles

Strong numerical affinity and attention to detail

Experience working with CRM systems and approval workflows
-
Team‑oriented, self‑motivated, and eager to learn
