About the role
We’re looking for a Revenue Operations Analyst (Customer Analytics) to own our customer growth intelligence engine. Meta sends us large monthly billing data (country-wise marketing & utility message counts per customer). Your job is to convert this data + CRM + payments into clean customer-level reporting, run cohort and channel analysis, and deliver actionable conclusions on where we should focus (partner vs sales vs self-serve, high-retention cohorts, expansion segments, churn risks).
This role is ideal for someone who loves messy data → clean insights → business decisions.
What you’ll own
1) Build the “single source of truth” for customer growth
- Create and maintain a Customer-Month dataset that unifies:
- Meta billing (marketing & utility message counts, country-wise)
- Customer identifiers (account IDs, orgs)
- CRM fields (lead source / partner / owner / pipeline)
- Payments/subscription (plan, MRR/ARR, renewals, overdue, cancellations)
- Define and document core metrics: Active customers, Net adds, Reactivation, Churn, ARPU, NRR/GRR, Expansion/Contraction, CAC proxy by channel (if available).
2) Cohort analysis & retention/expansion insights
- Track retention and expansion using:
- Active usage cohorts (message volume)
- Revenue cohorts (MRR/NRR/GRR)
- Identify drivers behind:
- High-retention/high-expansion cohorts
- Early churn cohorts and leading indicators
3) Channel & attribution tagging
- Create a robust tagging system for acquisition source:
- Work with Sales/Partnerships/Marketing to improve hygiene:
- Ensure consistent tagging in CRM
- Create rules to resolve missing/dirty data
4) Dashboards & executive reporting
- Build a simple, trusted reporting layer (Google Sheets + BI tool preferred):
- Customer growth dashboard
- Cohorts dashboard
- Channel performance dashboard
- Geography/country-wise patterns (where relevant)
- Own weekly business review packs (WBR) and monthly business review packs (MBR).
Requirements (must-have)
- 3–6 years experience in RevOps / Growth Analytics / BI / Business Analytics in B2B SaaS
- Strong in Excel/Google Sheets (pivots, formulas, data cleaning)
- Strong in SQL (or ability to learn fast if currently spreadsheet-heavy)
- Proven experience with cohort analysis, retention/churn, expansion (NRR/GRR)
- Comfort working with messy real-world data (exports, invoices, multiple sources)
- Ability to present insights clearly to leadership and revenue teams
Good-to-have (big plus)
- Python (pandas) for automation / parsing exports
- Experience with Metabase / Looker / Power BI / Tableau
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot/LeadSquared/Salesforce/Pipedrive)
- Experience in subscription billing / SaaS metrics
- Experience in WhatsApp, messaging, communications, or usage-based billing businesses
