High-Growth Food Manufacturing & Branded Snacks | New Jersey

We are partnering on a confidential search for a Chief Financial Officer to join a rapidly scaling, privately held food manufacturing and branded snack business in the better-for-you space. The company is highly profitable today, operating at meaningful scale, and entering a pivotal phase of growth with potential for a strategic financial transaction in the near future.

This is a true CFO role and the first dedicated hire at this level. The CFO will serve as a key partner to ownership, with broad responsibility across finance, accounting, reporting, and transaction readiness.

The Opportunity

First CFO hire in a founder-led, entrepreneurial organization
Ownership of the full finance function, including building internal capabilities
Opportunity to segment the business financially, including brand-level P&Ls
Lead financial strategy and preparation for a major liquidity event
High visibility role with meaningful impact on the future of the business

What We’re Looking For

Proven CFO or senior finance leader who has seen a business through an IPO and/or strategic sale
Strong background in food & beverage or broader CPG, ideally within manufacturing environments
Hands-on operator with the ability to dive into the details while maintaining a strategic lens
Experience professionalizing finance in growing, complex organizations
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, family-owned setting

Location & Work Model

Piscataway, NJ
In-office role (five days per week)

Compensation
