About the Position:
Reporting to the CEO, this role will be a blend of strategic and operational finance duties, combined with externally facing investor relations responsibilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Serve as the finance leader of the Company, leading a strong and growing team.
- Conceive, define, and execute the Company's profit strategy
- Engage in activities and investor relations at the VC/PE institutional investment level. Prepare the company for IPO.
- Maintain banking relationships and negotiate and secure debt structure and long-term financing as needed.
- Conceive and create detailed strategic business plans & financial presentations for Company strategic direction and investment
- Financial oversight to enable product-to-market. Overseeing the overall financial well-being of the Company.
- Lead, and oversee all financial and business strategies, risks, and management with regards to Company activities
- Create detailed financial projections & Pro Formas
- Lead and be responsible for Company financial management and taxes
- Executive Treasury responsibilities
Qualifications and Skills:
- 15+ years of finance experience, with at least 5-10 years of finance leadership experience.
- 5-10+ years of manufacturing industry experience.
- Extensive M&A, investment banking and/or investor relations experience.
- Experience maintaining strong banking relationships and engaging in additional financing as needed.
- CPA, MBA or other advanced degree or certification.
- Proven success at leading and managing professionals in finance/accounting, including team development and efficient deployment through a practiced coaching and a people-focused management style.
- Ability to partner with CEO, President and other members of the executive team to drive and influence the future direction of the company while bringing their own point of view and expertise to insuring the continuing excellence of the finance/accounting and administrative departments.
