Chief Financial Officer
Overview
The CFO will join a small but rapidly scaling technology platform, providing the financial leadership needed to support growth, strengthen controls, and prepare the organisation for its next stage of maturity. Operating internationally, the CFO will bring commercial discipline, strategic clarity, and modern financial capability to a tech-enabled environment. As a core member of the executive team, the role blends strategic influence with hands‑on leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a senior advisor to the CEO and Executive Team.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
- Provide commercial insight to guide investment, growth, and prioritisation.
- Support international expansion and income diversification.
Governance & Control
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance across all jurisdictions.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, treasury, and risk management.
- Lead statutory accounts, audits, and Board committee reporting.
- Strengthen working capital, cashflow, and procurement oversight.
Finance Transformation
- Modernise the finance function, improving systems, automation, and data quality.
- Drive the adoption of digital tools and analytics for better decision‑making.
- Enhance reporting frameworks and integrate financial data across the organisation.
Team Leadership
- Lead a finance team, developing capability and high performance.
- Strengthen financial capability across the business to support effective planning and decision‑making.
- Embed behaviours that reflect collaboration, responsibility, and a commitment to ongoing development.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Experience
- Considerable senior finance leadership experience in a complex, multi‑entity or international organisation.
- Experience in transformation, system improvements, or ERP change.
- Strong background in planning, reporting, financial operations, and risk.
- Track record working with Boards and senior stakeholders.
