We are looking for a
Sr Business Systems Consultant to focus on our EverHealth division. EverHealth consists of SaaS products; DrChrono, EMHware, Good Therapy, AllMeds, iSalus, CollaborateMD, Updox, Therapy Partner and MDTech. EverHealth provides modern end-to-end solutions for healthcare providers. We are looking for a Sr Business Systems Consultant to support the EverCommerce Business Operations team and focus on implementing and maintaining Salesforce CRM and Zuora CPQ across the EverCommerce portfolio. Business Operations is the subject matter expert on business systems and cross-functional processes and provides both regular support and maintenance and strategic architecture and guidance to help our solutions teams operate efficiently and produce customer value.
As a
Sr Business Systems Consultant, you will consult on, architect, build, and manage systems and processes throughout lead-to-quote, CPQ, quote-to-revenue, and services delivery processes using your expertise in both Salesforce and Zuora. You are fluent in core Salesforce administration including Apex development, Flows, and the Salesforce data model, as well as Zuora CPQ configuration including product catalog management, pricing rules, charge models, and the Zuora data model (subscriptions, amendments, rate plans). You have experience with the Salesforce app ecosystem and have architected and developed operational solutions using tools like Zuora 360, Conga, ChiliPiper, SF Sales Engagement, Groove, Gong, ZoomInfo, Taskray and similar platforms. This fluency enables you to design and build end-to-end solutions spanning CRM and billing, including customizations, quote templates, subscription workflows, and amendment logic to meet the needs of our solutions teams now and in the future. You provide subject matter expertise in lead-to-quote, CPQ, and billing processes and are conversant in the functions and requirements of cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, Finance, and Accounting. You are also familiar with operational solutions working in conjunction with data warehouse and BI tools and are fluent in understanding, developing, and managing data architectures, data flows, and data structures and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery sessions to understand and document current state lead-to-quote, CPQ, billing, and services delivery processes, issues impacting user experience and revenue leakage, and requirements for future state implementation.
- Understand and align requirements provided by a complex set of stakeholders, including: Legal, Accounting, Billing, Marketing, Sales, and others.
- Lead design sessions with cross-functional teams to review and document future state processes and system architecture across Salesforce and Zuora.
- Implement and administer Salesforce CRM environments including custom Apex development, Flows, and declarative configuration.
- Implement and administer Zuora CPQ environments including product catalog design, charge models, pricing rules, subscription and amendment workflows, and Zuora 360 integration with Salesforce.
- Coordinate with Business Operations and Financial Systems teams to provide end-to-end solution design leadership across the CRM-to-billing value chain.
- Lead user acceptance testing for major development categories, including development of test plans and support of test users.
- Enable end-user success through seminar-style training sessions, office hours, and ad-hoc support channels.
- Support mentorship of other team resources in Salesforce, Zuora, operational tools, architecture, design, and best practices.
- Collaborate on the development of templates and playbooks to ensure that the team is optimally positioned to leverage our collective knowledge and experience and ensure predictable, high-quality project outcomes.
- Engage with EverCommerce and subsidiary leadership on status updates, working sessions, and solution design.
- Communicate recommendations, project progress, and achieved outcomes through a variety of media, including: presentations, emails, and diagrams such as Lucid Chart, Figma, or similar.
- Implement and administer multiple commercial applications and environments across the following categories:
- CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)
- CPQ & Billing Platforms (Zuora CPQ, Zuora Billing, Salesforce CPQ, etc.)
- Sales Enablement Solutions (Groove, SalesLoft, Outreach, SF Sales Engagement, etc.)
- Telephony Solutions (Talkdesk, Ring Central, Vonage, Zoom Phones, and native CRM voice solutions, etc.)
- Support Platforms (Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, Zoho Desk, Freshdesk, etc.)
- Task and Project Management Solutions (TaskRay, Jira, Asana)
Skills and Experience:
- 5-10+ years of combined experience across Salesforce.com administration/development and Zuora CPQ/Billing administration, or other related work experience such as equivalent CRM administration, subscription billing, operational data engineering, and BI solutioning. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in both Salesforce and Zuora and have architected cross-platform solutions covering the entire operational value stream.
- Strong Apex development skills, including triggers, batch Apex, Apex REST/SOAP web services, and test classes. Ability to write, review, and troubleshoot Apex code in a production environment.
- Deep knowledge of Zuora CPQ and Zuora Billing, including product catalog configuration, charge models (recurring, usage, one-time), rate plan structures, subscription lifecycle management, amendment workflows, and Zuora 360 sync with Salesforce.
- Experience with Zuora APIs (REST and SOAP), ZOQL, data exports, and integration patterns between Zuora and other platforms.
- Proficiency with Salesforce declarative tools including Flows, Process Builder (legacy), validation rules, and the Salesforce data model.
- Well-versed and experienced with scrum and agile software development methods and tactics, including epic and user story development, backlog grooming and refinement, and collaborating with engineering, product owner, and end-user stakeholders.
- Understanding of commercial processes and terminology and general understanding of lead-to-quote, quote-to-cash, subscription billing, and accounting principles; also understand services delivery processes like project management, implementation, product fulfillment, customer support, and technical support.
- Experience with Excel, SQL, data warehouses, BI tools like Looker or PowerBI, and/or data engineering tools and platforms a STRONG plus.
- Experience with basic programming and querying REST APIs using pre-developed frameworks in Python or similar languages a STRONG plus.
- Ability to advise and influence senior business leaders across organizational lines and develop visual artifacts and presentations to distill complex scenarios into understandable visual representations.
- Ability to train and mentor operational consultants and analysts and train and influence up and down the organization to fill in experiential gaps required to execute operational engineering projects to completion.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of meeting short-deadline projects daily.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Where: Remote – US, with 1-2 weeks of travel a year (1 annual company trip for continued education)
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
