ADP is hiring a Sr Director, Sales Operations – GES. Responsible for prioritizing, project managing, leading, directing and supporting the sales operations efforts for the Global Sales with a focus on process and program efficiencies. With alignment from the DVP of GES Sales Operations and the Sr. DVP of Global, focus on process simplification and streamlining to lead to more efficient sales processes and positive client experiences. Implements and executes the best practices and standard operating procedures. Participates in senior management decision-making process, as required, concerning sales issues, processes and procedures. Acts as a Sales advocate by balancing sales' needs while managing reasonable expectations from an operations perspective. Serves as a liaison between Operations, Sales, and multiple business units for all process changes and improvements. Participates in change management and coordinates internal and cross-business unit education and communication.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a Sales advocate by balancing sales' needs while managing reasonable expectations from an operations perspective. Includes setting the direction and prioritizing of process improvement with dual focus on the speed of sales process and improving client and prospect experiences.
- Participates in senior management decision-making process, as required, concerning sales issues, processes and procedures.
- Drives process improvement, integration, and alignment across the sales organization and cross BU.
- Consults with other Department Managers on processes and process improvement and standard operating procedures.
- Leads by example; coaching, promoting, encouraging and mentoring the sales organization towards high performance.
- Serves as an escalation point for the resolution of process and/or system issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:
- Experience: 8+ years' direct sales and sales management experience, including 12-18 months Sales Operations experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
- Proven proficiency in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems of all levels of complexity, prioritizing critical client issues and identifying department needs.
- Excellent oral and communication and presentation skills required.
- Must possess the ability to conceptualize and sell ideas internally.
- Innovation and the ability to gain consensus is necessary.
- Negotiation skills are essential.
- Must be a strong team player as well as an individual contributor.
- Good analytical skills.
- Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve issues affecting sales operations.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to coordinate the work of others to accomplish general objectives.
- Ability to manage both time and conflict resolution.
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $98,000.00 - USD $198,800.00 / Year*
- Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
