Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality CPQ functionality that supports complex pricing, quoting, and product configuration needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions to support complex product configurations, pricing models, and quote generation
- Customize and maintain CPQ objects including Products, Bundles, Price Rules, Product Rules, Quote Templates, and Approval Processes
- Develop and optimize Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows as needed
- Integrate Salesforce CPQ with upstream and downstream systems (ERP, billing, order management, etc.)
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment using Salesforce best practices
- Support UAT, production releases, and post-deployment issue resolution
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Salesforce governor limits and security standards
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience
- Strong expertise in Salesforce CPQ configuration (Products, Bundles, Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules, Quote Templates)
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce declarative tools
- Experience with Lightning Experience, including LWC and Aura
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and deployment processes
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification
- Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or subscription-based business models
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
