Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization’s financial planning, management, and reporting functions. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and adherence to regulatory requirements such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
- Lead risk analysis efforts by identifying potential financial risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring robust risk management practices are in place.
- Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking relationships, and investment oversight to optimize fiscal health.
- Supervise budgeting processes, expense control initiatives, cost management strategies, and cost accounting practices to ensure fiscal discipline across all departments.
- Oversee revenue cycle management activities such as billing, collections, revenue recognition (including ASC 606 compliance), and revenue analysis to enhance profitability.
- Drive business development initiatives through market analysis, strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions evaluation, and negotiation to expand organizational reach and impact.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and interpret complex data for executive decision-making; communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards for non-profit organizations or other sectors as applicable; maintain transparency through regulatory reporting.
- Lead the implementation of advanced financial software systems and ensure team proficiency in technical accounting practices such as COSO framework for internal controls.
Experience
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles with a strong background in managing large-scale finance operations within diverse sectors such as non-profit or corporate environments.
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including profit & loss analysis, forecasting, market analysis, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance, risk management frameworks, and regulatory reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with mergers & acquisitions processes from due diligence through integration; strong negotiation skills are essential.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, business analysis, governmental accounting standards where applicable, and the use of advanced financial software tools.
- Supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams; excellent leadership skills that inspire collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of technical accounting standards including ASC 606 (revenue recognition), IFRS/IAS standards, GAAP guidelines, and internal control frameworks like COSO.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets for strategic decision-making; exceptional communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and presentations.
