Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization’s financial planning, management, and reporting functions. The CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the company, ensuring regulatory compliance, fiscal responsibility, and sustainable growth. This executive role requires a strong leader with extensive expertise in corporate finance, accounting standards, risk management, and strategic development to support our mission and long-term objectives.
Duties
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, COSO, and other relevant standards.
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow planning, and revenue cycle management to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
- Lead risk analysis initiatives and ensure effective risk management practices are in place across all financial activities.
- Supervise regulatory reporting requirements and ensure adherence to governmental accounting standards.
- Oversee mergers & acquisitions activities, including due diligence, valuation, integration planning, and negotiations.
- Manage cost control and expense management strategies to improve profit & loss performance.
- Provide strategic insights through financial analysis and interpretation of financial reports to senior leadership for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations through effective tax accounting practices and manage external audits.
- Lead business development efforts by analyzing market trends and identifying growth opportunities.
- Supervise finance teams responsible for payroll management, cost management, supply chain finance, and other financial functions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving financial regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of SOX compliance, COSO framework, IFRS, GAAP, IAS standards including ASC 606.
- Proven experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, revenue management, and business development.
- Strong expertise in financial accounting—public accounting experience preferred—and non-profit accounting as applicable.
- Advanced skills in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning with excellent business acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing senior teams and overseeing large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in financial software systems along with technical accounting expertise including cost accounting and revenue cycle management.
- Exceptional negotiation skills combined with risk analysis capabilities to support organizational growth initiatives.
- Ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
