While our consultants focus on the research, we need a conscientious and capable HR & Business Operations Manager to be the operational heart of our London office.
The Role
The HR and business operations manager is a conscientious, capable, and hands-on individual who is the operational centre of medHF’s London office. You will sit at the intersection of HR, Executive Support, and Office Management, ensuring that our team feels supported and our people processes run smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- HR Admin: Own implementation of the company’s HR processes and policies, ensuring compliance, maintaining HR records and files and supporting the team in applying HR processes correctly.
- People Operations: Maintain smooth backend HR activities to create a seamless front end HR experience, from making new joiners feel welcome to ensuring performance appraisals are managed with care.
- Employee support: Support employees in their HR and community needs, being a neutral point of contact and organising company socials, to help make medHF a psychologically safe and engaging place to work.
- Executive Support: Assist Directors in performing business administration and HR activities, so they can focus on technical leadership.
- Office Management: Keep the office running smoothly as the main point of contact for onsite queries.
What You Bring
- A Consultancy Mindset: You understand the ebb and flow of a client-led business. You are adaptable, proactive, and happy to roll up your sleeves in a small team environment.
- Details Focussed: You are naturally organised, excel at co-ordinating teams around HR activities, and take pride in getting it right first time. You have a particular sharp eye for proofreading and formatting.
- Discretion & Calm: You handle sensitive information with confidentiality and remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable with IT: You have a good knowledge of MS Office, including Loop and Copilot, and are familiar with HR systems.
- Background: Experience in HR administration, Office Management, or as a Senior EA/PA in a professional services or regulated environment is ideal.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
