Key Responsibilities:
Custom Scripting (QCP): Develop and maintain Javascript Quote Calculator Plugins (QCP) to handle complex calculations that exceed standard CPQ Price Rule capabilities.
Complex Configuration: Build intricate Product Bundles with nested structures, hidden options, and dynamic filtering using Product Rules and Option Constraints.
Advanced Price Rules: Engineer multi-step Price Rules using Lookup Queries to pull data from custom objects for real-time pricing adjustments.
Apex & Triggers: Write clean, efficient Apex to manage data flow between CPQ objects (Quotes, Quote Lines) and Sales Cloud objects (Opportunities, Contracts).
Technical Troubleshooting: Debug calculation sequences and "Price Waterfall" issues to ensure $0.00$ discrepancy in final quote totals.
Deployment & CI/CD: Manage CPQ data deployments (which are record-based, not metadata-based) using tools like Data Loader, Salto, or Gearset.
Technical Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of direct development experience in Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud.
Coding Skills:Proficiency in Javascript (specifically for CPQ QCP).
Proficiency in Apex (Triggers, Classes, Asynchronous processing).
Experience with LWC (Lightning Web Components) for customizing the user interface.
CPQ Mechanics: Expert-level understanding of the CPQ Calculation Sequence and how to prevent recursion/performance lag in the Quote Line Editor.
Sales Cloud: Deep knowledge of Lead/Opportunity conversion and the standard Order/Contract object relationship.
