Title : Technical Business Analyst
Location: Sydney, Australia (Onsite)
- Key expectations from the candidates: in-depth experience in understanding complex business processes, converting requirements into project deliverables, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.
- Deep understanding of customer business processes in at least 2 of the 3 domains (Quoting/ CPQ, Hiring/ Scheduling in ERP, Contract Management).
- Conduct detailed business process analysis and document workflows from L1 to L4, using industry‑standard modelling techniques (flowcharts, swim lanes, etc.).
- Translate complex business requirements into well‑structured Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams.
- Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and ensure delivered features align with business expectations.
- Partner with QA teams to ensure test cases, scripts, and results fully reflect business needs and acceptance criteria.
- Understand and manage dependencies across app modules, features, and user stories.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and overall Agile ceremonies in collaboration with PO and PM/ SM.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive bi‑directional traceability matrix.
- Produce high-quality documentation including BRD, FRD, user manuals, training content, and release notes.
- Plan and deliver training sessions tailored to different end‑user personas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with client stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining outstanding quality standards.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks.
- Good to have certification (CBAP, PMI‑PBA or domain‑specific credentials).
