Chief Financial Officer, Part Time (ASX Listing, Global Multi-Asset Broker)

Overview:
Due to its expansion, a multi-regional investment platform is hiring a part-time (convertible to full time) CFO. The ideal candidate will play a critical and exciting role in the successful day to day finance operations of the company.
Core Responsibilities
- Public Market Stewardship: Lead the strategic management of financial reporting and regulatory obligations, ensuring strict adherence to ASX Listing Rules and continuous disclosure requirements.
- Capital & Treasury Strategy: Anticipate operational needs and execute sophisticated financing and capital-raising initiatives to fuel expansion.
- Comprehensive Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of all statutory reporting, including half-year and full-year consolidated financial statements, management accounts, and the ASX Annual Report.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct deep-dive feasibilities on new acquisitions, modeling cash flows and IRRs, and advising on optimal legal and financial structures.
- Stakeholder Diplomacy: Act as a primary liaison and build high-trust relationships with the Board of Directors, Shareholders, Institutional Investors, and Auditors.
Candidate Requirements
- ASX Expertise (Essential): Proven experience navigating the ASX regulatory landscape. You must possess a deep understanding of listing rules, corporate governance principles, and the reporting cycles unique to publicly traded companies.
- Professional Credentials: CA/CPA qualification is mandatory.
- Executive Leadership: 5+ years of success in a CFO or senior financial leadership capacity, with a track record of driving culture and managing complex change.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Corporations Act, ASIC, AUSTRAC, and other local regulatory frameworks.
- Industry Background: Prior experience within the Financial Services sector is highly preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: The ability to move beyond the "numbers" to provide high-level business advisory that influences board-level decision-making.
